Blah, Blah, Blah

Hey, whats up?

Mmmm, well, I guess I should put something on here coz it has been, like, 2 weeks, umm, so I guess I will say something.  SOMETHING!  There.  Okay, not funny.  Lame even.  I get it.  What is new?  Mmmmm, our puppy died.  Bonnie got a different car.  Something better on gas.  I haven't been to the gym in, like, forever.  Not everyone likes this weather, but  I do.  Church is good.  Summertime crowds though.  I am sure there must be some other things going on but they escape me.  So.  Like..I guess I will chat at you later.  God bless you.

Now my dear sisters and brothers in Christ, that was lame, sloppy, lazy, and just not right.  Yet, this is how some Christians act toward the non-believers in this world.  They act like it is no big deal how they treat people.  Have you ever joined a group because someone convinced you it was beneficial or fun?  Have you ever thought, 'If that is the type of people that go there then I am not going there"?  First impressions are vitally important especially when it comes to our witness for Jesus Christ, our Lord, Savior, and King.  We never know when someone is teetering on the lip of eternity, trying to make up their mind which way to go and who to follow.  Will they see Jesus in us?  Will they see the Risen Savior and Glorious God in us?  Will the joy of the Lord shine forth from our countenances to inspire those whom we meet?

Old story:  A person was walking in the jungle one day.  It was beautiful but also full of dangerous animals.  This person walked and walked and walked until they became lost.  There had been so many trails, but now there was just one so this person continued on late into the day.  Suddenly they came to a fork in the path.  There were no signs, only two men standing at the fork.  One was dead and the other was very much alive.  Which man do you suppose the person asked for help?

Get Jesus in you.  Read the Word of God, pray, sing praises, worship Jesus, and love the Lord your God with all of your heart soul mind and strength.  Then go and give the world Heaven, let them see Jesus in you.

God loves you and so do I,

Pastor Bruce
