Youth Group

June 2022 Youth Group Notes

As summer starts, youth group changes.  We move out of the building, reduce to twice a month and change the start time to 6pm, end time will depend on the activity.

June dates and places:

6/8-Mini Golf and ice cream from 6-8 at Kerbers. Meet us there!!

6/15 and 6/22-no youth group.  Ron and Robbyn are out of town.

6/29- Escape Room and dinner.  Escape Room at 6pm at 60 Minute Missions in Greensburg.  We will be there from 6-7 and then we will go (walk, if necessary) to St. Clair Park

July dates and places:

7/6- Cookout, bonfire and fireworks at the Platts, 14901 Ardara Rd, North Huntingdon, 630-930pm

7/13-no youth group

7/18-7/22-Vacation Bible School- M-F from 630-830.  We need as much help as we can get.  This will replace youth group.

7/27-no youth group

August dates and places:

8/5-7- Retreat at Wesley Woods.  We will meet at the church at 230pm on Friday and plan to return between 3 and 4 on Sunday. Permission forms and packing list will be coming soon. If your child has not yet committed, there is still time. The cost to each student is $30, which includes all meals. 

A trip to Kennywood is in the works, but we have not yet set a date. We are looking at a Wednesday in August.  Tickets will cost youth and their families about $15 ea.  We encourage everyone to joins, parents, siblings, friends, grandparents, aunts, uncles, etc. We are looking into a catered picnic as well.

Youth Group

Wednesday: 4th -12th Grade; 5:00 Pm to 8:00 Pm

Games, devotions, snack bar, movies.

Sunday Small Group: 6th - 12th Grade; 9:30 Am to 10:30 Am

 If Norwin School District is closed, Youth Group will be cancelled.
